Wow, good morning, it is still early huh? July already, half the year *poof!* gone. Alright, let's do this thang...
After the suckage of wednesday (fawk, I still have to pay for that ticket and everything's going to be shut down for like half the week because of the fourth, d'oh!) thursday couldn't have been any worse, right? (btw, why do we have an END button but not a BEGINNING or START button, I mean I need to go to start of a sentence almost as often as I need to go to the end of one) I show up to work, because of all the construction it is a bitch trying to find parking, then I have to round up the kids and find coach B. Of course a few of the administrators are there and I could tell one was like WTF is he doing here. I guess it didn't help that I was walking around with all my ink showing, whatever. I say my hellos and gather the troops. We end up with 11 kids and only two cars, both of which are full of junk as it is. We do our best to cram the kids in the trucks, luckily we're both rolling in SUVs, and we head over to the Wesssstsiiiide! *makes "W" with hand* The camp is already underway and we sneak in, it is actually a cool camp. Lots of other schools and coaches, so I'm learning along with our guys. Unfortunately it's like 94 degrees and sunny, yeah the only day of the month that it's sunny happens to be when I'm out there. Of course I'm trying to shade my tattoo and keep it clean, you have to take care of them for 10-14 days, I try to at least be good with it for a week. Long story short, it ends up being a long ass day. The drive back, dropping off the kids, it was late so we dropped them off at home. A lot of them live near me in the RP so it wasn't too bad, I just shot down Glenwood to Howard and back up to Ridge and then headed home. Didn't get home until 8-ish, exhausted I pretty much passed out.
Yesterday was okay. I had to be home from 11-1, I was expecting something to be delivered and you know how that goes. "Yeah we'll be there between 9 and 9, we'll only ring the doorbell once and wait approximately ten seconds for you to answer it or else we're outta there. Furthermore, we'll wait unti you're taking a piss or in the middle of something to show up, thanks!" Luckily I was doing neither, I did have to abort a game of Astropop, but it all worked out. I then made some calls, and spent a big part of the day trying to get my name into the credits for Clerks II. I think I'm in, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Basically you had to wait for a new profile on MySpace to go live and then be one of the first 10,000 to friend it. I was one of the first, but there's a bunch of technicalities so I'm trying not to get too excited. After dealing with that and a rough week in general, I really needed a drink, or ten. Headed over to Mullen's had a few drinks and called it a night. I ended up grocery shopping on the way home, I needed some distilled water, (don't ask) and although it's like a buck fifty a gallon, I ended up spending thirty bucks on random shit, go figure.
That's pretty much it, nice boring entry. There are a couple of other things going on but I'll get to those in due time. Tonight...I don't know, tonight's going to be a telling night I guess, I'm supposed to be going to a wedding but I think that's probably not going to happen. Eh, they'll live. Speaking of...maybe I should pop They Live in, it's early, I'm awake, I should watch a flick...
Take care, have a good weekend and a kick ass Fourth.
