What a chilly night! But, the win was in sight. . . Plain sight. The Dodgers couldn’t hang on to a good lead. The Cubs commanded the stadium with blasts that seemed to go to all corners of Wrigley Field, keeping Cubby Nation on the edge of their feet—even on the edge of our seat for last night’s wild play. What a wild game! I’m glad I was able to hear what was going on, though I was practically falling asleep. I didn’t want to miss any of the action whatsoever, no matter how tired I was getting. A good game this was. I wonder what’s going to happen tonight. The game’s on an hour earlier than last night; however, we still have to fight. Cubs rule! Time to send the Dodgers to school. For the 2nd night straight. Boy, I can’t wait!
